The Zuzāns Collection

English edition of the book “The Zuzāns Collection”.

The art collection of Dina and Jānis Zuzāns is the largest private art collection in Latvia, and since 2011 its works have been regularly exhibited in the family-owned exhibition space – Mūkusala Art Salon, as well as deposited for exhibitions in museums in Latvia and abroad. Thinking about the ways of representing the collection, Jānis Zuzāns encouraged the employees of Mūkusala Art Salon to create their own top works. This is how the core of the book was created – 230 art pearls, each of which is associated with a story. They have been revealed in the book by the employees of Mūkusala Art Salon – Diāna Barčevska, Ingūna Ģēģere, Sniedze Sofija Kāle, Līga Lindenbauma, Valts Miķelsons, Arta Vārpa, as well as Dina and Jānis Zuzāns, and their daughters Elīna Janevica and Kristīne Zuzāne.
