The series of small plastic figurines with children in masks can be found under different titles: Morning Show / Carnival / Children in Masks (Утренник / Карнавал / Дети в масках), fitting into the broader theme of Soviet porcelain figurines - Happy Childhood.

In the 1960s-1970s, the Gorodnitsky Porcelain Factory created six figurines: a Girl in a Fox Mask (Fox), a Girl in a Bear Mask (Bear), a Girl in a Bunny Mask (Bunny Girl), a Boy in a Lion Mask (Lion), a Boy in a Wolf Mask, and a Boy in a Roster Mask.

The set is a limited edition, figures from it are relatively rare.

Gorodnitsky Faience Factory (c.1807–2008) in Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine, started as a subsidiary of the Korts Manufactory. It produced high-quality faience and porcelain and later collaborated with French and Czech craftsmen. After the Revolution, it was nationalised and restarted production in 1923-1924 as the Gorodnitsky porcelain factory "Kominterne", which also produced agitational porcelain. In the post-war period, the factory cooperated with the Leningrad All-Union Scientific Research Institute of the Porcelain and Faience Industry to expand the production of artistic genre and animal sculptures. Masters R. Marchuka, J. Gavriluk, A. and T. Krizanovsky, Z. Mosichuk, V. Shcherbina, A. Tsvetkov created them.
